Although it is late in the season to grow
Eggplant. I'm just happy to see it flourish
in this potted medium.
I notice new shoots at it's base. This plant
just wants to grow regardless if it will be
able to come to fruition.
Speaking of fruit I was told that I may have
to make like a bee and pollinate the flowers
in order to get more Eggplants. I will have to
look into that prospect.
I also staked this up for some needed support
with some home grown bamboo stakes that
I rescued from a friends yard. Rescued for my
own purpose, not only for it's utilitarian but
it's own natural beauty.
