Today's plant featured in this collage is the Hippeastrum - Amyrillis.
A favorite of mine and many. Several of these shown have been raised
by seed (5 to 7yrs to bloom) and there for a variation of said original.
The one shown at top center is baring five blooms instead of the typical
four blooms.
This season's first Amyrillis bloom was March 1st, rather early this year
should my memory serve me right.
