Several trees and large branches were either knocked down or
torn off due to strong gusts and rain on this Monday afternoon.
Walking around the lake this evening I spotted a tree that had
been hollowed out and twisted open from the gusts and rain that
was no match for it's decreped state, which belied it's unblemished
exterior. The concrete pole next to it almost met it's same fate.
The cavern like opening beckoned me but it's fragil stance spoke to
my common sense that prevented me to pull a random selfie.
No photo here, did not to add more rubber necking to this giants
demise.
