Day two...
I suspect a pair of nesting Florida Trush. No pictures but eye witness them carting
off with an earthworm. Also witnessed one of them smack down a Cuban Anole lizard
several times , only to finish it off with a multiple hammer move that left the lizard
lifeless and suitable for baby's next meal. The eye witness was watching one of them
grabbing a pine bark and tossing it aside without concern or consideration of putting
it back where they found it. HA!
This must be the female, because the male has a bright cinnamon coloring. Both
have a speckled belly and long beak, ideal for poking around and under our mulch.
