A Rare Gift Indeed




Not one but two figs for me. This Brown Turkey fig this year has not only
a feast to the eyes and to the belly. If they don't fall to the ground or sampled
by a bird. These exotic fruits are a delight to relish.

Not only is this the year of the Iris but the Iris will have to share the title
with this Fig.

This fig tree is second generation props from a specimen that grew
in my grandmother's garden then transplanted to mine and thrived
for nearly twelve years. It's  decline called for props which perpetuated
it's long extended life and fond memories and delicious bites to this day.
