Ginger Fixing To Bloom

Believe you me, this one is going to dazzle.

This Rock Has Life

Spores from a Resurrection Fern first have to spring to life before they perform their
resurrection dance.

What better place than on these ancient rocks of Florida coral as their stage..

This Terrestrial Great Milky Way of Blossoms

This is just one galaxy of many, welcome to my Summer garden.

Another Rarity

that I show off a piece of art work, but that this work, one of a trilogy made from what
would have been discarded home grown Budha Bellie bamboo. Arranged and bound at
touch points and still in progress and an inspiration for my next piano session.

Second Time Props

This time around, smaller cuttings and added some sphagnum moss to the mix
along with a sealed lid. Time and luck be with you and me.

The first pic made me think of those near death scenarios. Come back, come
back my little juniper props.

Check out this curbside parent props donor beauty.

This twenty-eight year old specimen, no bigger than a turkey platter, looks
no older than a five year old.

Thank you for the clippings.

Rich In Hue

Isn't' it grand that you don't need a dessert to grow this Dessert Rose.

A Rare Gift Indeed

Not one but two figs for me. This Brown Turkey fig this year has not only
a feast to the eyes and to the belly. If they don't fall to the ground or sampled
by a bird. These exotic fruits are a delight to relish.

Not only is this the year of the Iris but the Iris will have to share the title
with this Fig.

This fig tree is second generation props from a specimen that grew
in my grandmother's garden then transplanted to mine and thrived
for nearly twelve years. It's  decline called for props which perpetuated
it's long extended life and fond memories and delicious bites to this day.

Now For My NExt

Yoga standing Asana, Five-Pointed Star pose, for those Yoga enthusiasts.

A couple more breaths! Lengthen those limbs by pressing into your heals and palms.
While keeping the length in the spine and slight tuck of the chin to chest to feel the back of
the neck stretch.                               A few more deep breaths.                           You can relax now.                   I said,(quiet whisper) you can relax now.             Your stuck? Ok, just take
a couple of more breaths....There's one in every crowd.

Secondary Outdoors Props Station

There are the two standbys on either side. The Wart fern to the far right that did get it's start
from a generous donation from a local nurseryman that also likes it's feet wet. While the
Triangular fig to the far left is a long time resident and has been in training to look like a
Florida Mangrove. So far it's doing a very well impression and likeness. The two
newbies just potted into soil this morning just left of center will enjoy some real sunlight,
early morning light, last seen months ago. Our humidity is upping it's game this time of year,
which will be greatly appreciated by these green little munchkins.

I almost forgot a shout out to the other long time resident, a begonia that bloomed for the
first time while keeping company with this year's props of it's self that is coming along quite
well. Also the backup trailing Baby Tears that I thought I would start for her in case her's
croaks. She gave me the cuttings for my first one and this is it's progeny. My first impression
of this plant was wow how awesome to wow this is one is high maintenance to lets find a more
suitable location to I think I found one here.

Honorable mentions go out to the next to last white begonia leaf cuttings, still in water and
one of several props that have been very successful and that now populate my yard's side
garden. Along with the ever popular Triangular Fig that just got put to soil earlier this week.

So, yeah a constant gardener's never ending supply of living green in perpetuity.

Sometimes

the first location of planting these tranplants might need a second move. These Iris
get bumped to some front row sunshine. Just when the Summer Solstice just around
the corner and this being the Year of the Iris. Puts these specimens on a high priority.

The Ever Changing

props table is taking in it's new air conditioned space and having to adjust watering accordingly.
This tiny indoor green oasis goes a long way in brightening my green thumb.

Sometimes I swear I can see my thumb glowing bright and not just in dark...hehehe.

Next two days change .

I brought the cactus that was proped directly to soil indoors for a week to help
facilitate the healing and give it a more consistent temperatures. That went
back out to my secondary prop station out doors. Along with a new props
potting that graduates to the secondary outdoors props station today.

Scene From The Garden

Rich in texture and shadows. A diverse existence of garden variety of vining
varieties that out number the others. Cool colors amidst hot humid temperatures.
Two weeds that blend harmoniously, that don't mess with the nature of gardening.

A feast for the eyes and multiple senses.  Enjoy!

Apply Named

and one of the few that get a appropriate common name.

I know, what a show off.

I'll just leave you guessing to what it's common is.

My Four Apostles

Who ever might of said of Bald Cypress knees that they being similar in nature of snowflakes, no two
are a like haven't seen these three. I did say there were four, but you have to squint to
see the fourth in the distance. I will have to return to get a closer look and the fourth one
to see if it is actually following in the familiar ways as it's brethren.
