Stunted growth due to lack of water and
yet it still blooms. Countless times I hauled
out buckets of rainwater to this back lot
location with reward.
While less than thirty feet away another is nearly drowned
from the heavy rains we received collectively over the past
few weeks. With standing water at its feet takes its toll.
Yet it hangs on to life.
