Lady Finger Palm - Rhapis excelsa and pond plant and pot shuffle.

Downsized from an eight gallon to
a two gallon. The eight gallon pot
will be used for a volunteer tomato
plant that needs a new home.

I had this palm specimen for nearly
thirty years.  A coworker found a
homeowner that was selling these
palms and we drove out to pick out
some and they were dirt cheap.
  These palms will spread and
become a nuisance that is why I keep
mind contained.

Found a place for the potted White Bleeding Heart Vine -  Clerodendrum thomsoniae.
This plant too will run underground and spread and become a nuisance, hense the potted
culture.  The Heart Vine will swap places with the Finger Palm and since the palm has
been downsized it can go next to the Heart Vine.

This White Violet - Viola sororia was in a pot that I needed for the palm.

 Saved and potted April 5th.

Ready for final potting, using the pot the palm once called home.

Compari volunteer tomato with fruit ,second generation.

Final re-pot using the remaining of last year's compost.
I'm using a double reservoir by utilizing two 64oz juice containers.
This gets the water to where it is needed. It also assists in getting
a good fish emulsion fertilizer to the roots.
This is the only full sun I have remaining in my yard
and it's that killer afternoon sun too. So I will have to come up
with some mulch to help conserve water.

Yesterday finished painting a finish coat of paint on the windows at the
back of the house. Have five remaining on the driveway side of the house.
As hot as it is outside now, there still is relative low humidity, otherwise
concerned whether the paint will dry.
