Plant Phenom?

So many questions, very few answers.

This Yucca plant got the last yucks.

If it's not clear what happened, apparently this Yucca's needle like appendages
pierced it's own self and got a binding that eventually it would have freed it's self
if I hadn't intervened or not.

Indoor Fawn (Amphibian) and Flora

While tending to a friends windowsill garden, out pops this long time resident
tree frog. A resident of this pocket paradise, months if not for a year and making
the best of what's available. Flies for food, a sip of water when ever the plant gets
watered, that is if they even drink.

My friend also has one of my Snail Island Aralia plants to bring the exotica to
completion.

Last Flower of It's Season?

Do first blooms get more attention than a last bloom? This jewel, an Amryilla
bloom is so far removed from it's first bloom, it will always catch my eye.
There even can be one more last one still hibernating in this small patch of
splendor.

A Night's Knight

Don't be alarmed by it's white vacant eyes, courteous of a phone's flash.
This very young house geckos is taking advantage of my putting up this screen
door to not only keep out what ever might fly in, but unknowingly play host
to our night creatures's that have an appetite for those same fly ins. 

Clivia miniata - Kafir lily

As it's exotic name suggests, this Kafir lily flower emerges from it's cradled leaves.

It's orange glow caught my eye this afternoon, while watering the few captured
specimen needing human intervention.

Wow

Twice now in less than two weeks for these Rain Lillies to show what they are
all about. 

What a better way to welcome and kick off our the official beginning of our rainy season.

You Go Crinum!

This red Crinum lily in dire need of some sun has been hanging in
there for the past three years. One spike of flowers instead of a
half a dozen, another indication from lack of sunshine.

 A very fragrant flower too though and still well worth the wait as is
waiting for next day's blossom expansion.
