Yesterday's Catch

  Spotlighted by the early afternoon
sun shows either a greeting or a farewell.

Agapanthus africanus - Lily of the Nile

As gaudy and as ubiquitous this bromiliad is, it still has it's charm.

Third day bloom in light rain.

                                                                     Forth day bloom.

Found the thermostat was welded to the skillet, only after much force and determination
did I resolve to separate it. I hope this is not the beginning of the end for this cherished
kitchen appliance.

Last night's movie sy-fy binge.
First and last were time travel.

This one involved a Comet's passing.

Green Fire...

What started out as a means to compensate for my usual bulk to add to my Mud recipe.
I ended over compensating and was left with the inability to mix up my ingredients.
There was the green apples, green avocado and not to mention , green glass that caught
my eye for this inspirational rendering. The added bulk came from the chia, shredded
coconut and green apple.

King(Queen) of the Jungle

This jungle has dragons or rather an insipid remnant of a garden variety of Dragon fruit.

Salvaged Beads from Three

I broke up three neckpieces
that I made ten years ago to
reassemble to this one.

I did throw in the green beads
to compliment the assembly.
Also had to substitute the red
White Heart glass beads (shown)
for some red dyed coral beads that
did not waste any time running
their color after an over night
wearing.

Overall, I like and would wear
this as opposed to sitting in box
and being passed over.

Greek Proverb

"A society grows great when the old plant trees whose shade they know they shall never sit in."

Modified same to be more inclusive.
