Hydro Homies

aka Water Nymphs, aka hydroponics, but that's no fun.

A new addition to my props pedestal, standard African violet and a dwarf papayas.

Look

now or you may never see this Winter visitor again.

Perhaps this bird is my seed pooper/deliverer.

Now

 who's looking at who?

This

 week's seed bonanza beginnings .  .  .

                This was a good haul.

This what I  have thus far, the majority being Cabbage/Sable Palm seeds that made their way

through some birds digestive tract, if you get my drift.

Scored

this discarded palm base and since trimmed and manicured and set to get hung up and

just be the next best thing in this constant gardeners garden of wonders.

Don't

mind us, we are just hanging around...

Divided a clump of orchids and get the opportunity to give them a new hanger and

another companion orchid with some other non orchid epiphytic plants.

Succulent

Fairie tale like blossoms enchant this former home of a once vibrant exotic

that is beckoning for a return opportunity to once again dominate and allow my

green thumb to prosper.

What's Florida if it didn't have it's palm trees, as I ponder this clump of palms lakeside.

Take A Picture

will ya, it may last longer....How true, how true.

                                              Nice gazing ball!

Product placement, not intended.

Just enjoy the beauty 'intention' that manifested as I was creating this bio

                                        dome dome dome.

Dome II . .  .   .    .

Lesson learned, Lichen don't need nor thrive in moist conditions, but hey, good to know.

This Tree Has Some Beautiful Legs

It didn't take long for this Elderberry plant to reach for the sky.

Today's Planter Watch

We got some Chia on the right, favorite saved seeds sprouted from a Summer Sandwich tomato

and some store bought Basil.

Chia is a first time for me. I tossed some two year old Chia seeds from my refrigerator and into

my compost pile and really no surprises that it sprouted and transplanted them to this planter in

hopes to see some blooms this year and if I'm lucky enough to harvest some Chia seeds.  \

The tomato seedlings are ....ssssshhh.....back up seedlings, in  case the other planted around

don't make it.
