Desert Rose Gets Some

As this Desert Rose wakes up from it's dream, well, my dream of it needing some guidance, ok, scaffolding.

Then awakens and realizes that it's not a dream but a living daymare.

The things we humans love to do to control nature. About six years now and still blooming it's head off

several times a year, it could be worse.

The Danny 'T' Memorial

Amongst the greenery is a Memorial White Crape Myrtle that started off as cutting/props that was going to be a potted macro bonsai.

As life would have it, things change and lives end as in my case a childhood friend past earlier this year and another artist friend past

away this month and will now known to myself as the Danny 'T' memorial to a life of many things and interests and one of those

interests was the art of gardening.

                                                                   Blooming in full tilt.

Black Voodoo Orchid

 It's that time.

Seedlings Still Have Their Wings

These infant dragons make my heart sing.

What's A Bit

of Resurrection fern getting another life in my yard garden.

When Is A Pile

of rocks not a pile of rocks?

                     When it's an outcrop!

Last two pics are the winner of 'How can you make a pile of rocks...not a pile rocks!

Scored Some Street Bamboo

Three inch diameter and nearly an inch thick, it's no wonder bamboo makes great scaffolding.

I Know...Right

I can only imagine what night creatures are thinking.

Central Florida Has Their

version of a plant based Winter Florida snow, but also a plant based Summer snow.

Exhibit 'A' White Crape Myrtle gives us a dusting of it's blossoms and like the real snow, when it lingers it turns instead of gray

and or black. This Florida snowfall can turn a tannish brown, similar to the brown spent leaves you see in the picture that were cut

back before their time by a Florida fungus. These blossoms have been open long enough so when a slight breeze can give us  that

snow globe effect.

While the mid-west has their plant based Summer snow with their Cottonwood trees.

We to here in Florida can be witnesses to this mimicker of the Winter season phenomenon.
