The Other Day's Indoors Props Snapshot

 some

Always something changing and some still remaining.

Latest taken yesterday.

Biggest change is my CVS rescue cactus gets a repotting and some rescue tomatoes whose plant was scrapped due to under performing.

No point in keeping a disappointment around when there are other plants that are vying to to take it's place and proving otherwise.

The Other Day's Find

These great blue leviathans are some seed ponds from my aquatic based Iris.   I should check on them tomorrow to

see if they are ready and ripe, what ever that may mean and look like.

Dragon's Lair

Come on in.

Here where some of the unseen behind the scenes and magic was revealed but not seen other

than me.   A few already seen but worth repeating.

We've got pollen...lots and lots of pollen. Come and get it!

Some others getting in  on   the    budding      business.

You've seen enough, now off you go!

One last peek.

Dragon Breaths Again and Again

didn't want to overwhelm the reader with too much beauty in one post.

So with that, I give you some night blooming beauty....

and I sure hope your sitting down.

I know, speechless.

Dragon Breaths Again

Now I that I get to see the end of this cycle that took about for to five weeks to develop.

Here you will see the climax to it's blooming as the evening falls.

First, you will get a preview of what's to become. This one appears to be the first one to

begin opening.

Just as I went out the door for an evening bike ride I thought I would take a peek on their progress.
wow...wow...wow.

Needless to say, my bike ride will be quick, but with a few pictures taken first.
Same distance but in quick-time.

Don't worry little Dragon, I will be back

      and so the drama unfolds.....

A Salute

to the men, woman and every pronoun, that have given their ultimate sacrifice.  To be

remembered and not forgotten on this past Memorial weekend.

First Time Bloomers

 for the late Spring season.

While trying to maintain this yard's green, as in greenery. Ninety degree temps and nearing

the end of our natural dry season, challenges these steadfast bloomers.

Compelled to supplement with some city water while every thing in sight turns to toast.

Nothing like a dash of floral colors to brighten the blight that has taken hold else where.

How bout some soft pink and cool purples to dial down those hot temperatures.

A rain lily to greet the rain we received over the last couple of days. I see you!

Some neutral whites to bring the calm.

and a Fritillery butterfly to this floral party as this Spinach Tree shows off.

There is something for everyone. Here's some fiery hot oranges to raise up the perceived
temperatures even higher.

ssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssizzling hot.

Dragon Fruit Flower Update...Again

Coming right along. These are about the third the size when they

go into full bloom. It's still hard for me to phantom that I missed these

developing and it was too late to see them open up.

Now, like the proverbial watched pot of boiling water, time has slowed down and

it seems like it's taking forever.

Beauty never happens quickly in the plant world and

now that I know what to look for there are many more where these came from. Just in time

for our rainy season to, not knowing if the rain will be a blessing or a curse. Once again

                          only time will tell
