Wild Oats and Tomatoes
Euphorbia milii crest - China Wall Crested Crown of Thorns repotted two weeks ago
using composted yard material and one of those materials happens to be a tomatoe. I suspect
that it is a Compari tomatoe purchased from the grocery store. It is a rare for a tomatoe to have
reached the compost. It must have been over ripe. Discovered this vulunteer while Spring cleaning
in the yard. Needless to say how these simple pleasures brought a smile to my face. Will have to
give the seedling its own berth too.
While at Wal-mart shopping for the line of Wild Oats labled products, I discovered that Wild Oats makes a curry spice. Along with some organic canned Corn and Peas. Yippee!

Orchid's first bloom of the season
Encyclia cordigera
orchid started to open up this morning. This is the orchid's third year and it is one of two fragrant orchids that I have and enjoy. Another unique feature of the orchid of the large
onion like psuedobulbs (not shown).
